The emergence of what’s reported to be a new Chinese aircraft with stealth capabilities has provoked negative reactions within the US.
The aircraft in question is the Chengdu J-20 – a type known as the ‘Black Eagle’. As yet unflown, it has so far carried out ground-based trials, according to images that have appeared online in recent days.

J-20 flew on 11 - 01 - 2011 when Secretary Gates was in Beijing. It was speculated flew again a week ago (2nd trial).
